This is just a quick blog post to celebrate that the Dupuytren’s chapter of the Living Textbook of Hand Surgery is now online here. It is an excellent resource for medical professionals and patients about all aspects of the disease.
I have written the chapter on Radiotherapy for Dupuytren’s disease. The book is available on the internet, and has two major advantages over other textbooks: Firstly, it is free. Also, the intention is that it will be continually updated. This is why it is called the “Living” Textbook of Hand Surgery, as whenever new papers and evidence is published, the textbook will be updated with this new information.
My chapter is only a very small part of a very major achievement that hopefully will become the go-to resource for anything Dupuytren’s or hand surgery related.
